UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION ADDENDUM  – NOTICE TO CANDIDATES
Reference Union Public Service Commission’s Advertisement No. 13/2013 (Item No. 04, Vacancy No. 13091304114) published on 14.09.2013 with closing date of submission of Online Applic ation being 23:59 Hrs. on 03.10.2013 for Recruitment to 11 Posts of General Duty Medical Officer (Homoeopathy) in Directorate of Indian System of Medicine and Homoeopathy, Health and Family Welfare Department, Govt. of NCT of Delhi  and 
Advertisement No. 02/2014 (Item No. 9, Vacancy No. 14020209108) published on 08.02.2014
with closing date of submission of Online Applic ation being 23:59 Hrs. on 27.02.2014 for Recruitment to 27 posts of Medical Officers/Research Officers (Homoeopathy) in Department of Ayush, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. 
In terms of Note II(d) of the above advertisements , the Commission have now decided to conduct a COMBINED COMPUTER BASED RECRUITMENT TEST for short-listing the candidates for these posts on 27.04.2014 (SUNDAY) (FORENOON SESSION) from 09.30 A.M TO 11.30 A.M (Candidates’ Reporting time: 08.00 A.M.) at the following Centers . Only such candidates who qualify recruitment test and satisfy/fulfill all the eligibility conditions shall be called for interview. The Scheme and Syllabus for the Recruitmen t Test is as under:- 

Scheme of the Test: 
(a) The test will be of two hours duration and will carry a maximum of 100 marks.
(b) The test will be objective type questions with multiple choice answers. 
(c) The medium of the Test will be English only. 
(d) There will be penalty for wrong answer. Every wrong answer will carry a deduction of one-third of the marks assigned to that question. If no answer is mark ed for a question, there will be no penalty for that question. 
II. Syllabus of the Test: 
The syllabus of the question paper shall broadly cover: All the core areas normally included in the Bachelor’s Degree of Homoeopathy Medicine and Surgery programmes of Indian Universities.

NOTE-I: INTIMATION ABOUT VENUE OF THE RECRUITMENT TEST WILL BE COMMUNICATED TO THE CANDIDATES IN DUE COURSE. 
NOTE-II: RESPECTIVE WEIGHTAGE OF THE RECRUITMENT TEST AND INTERVIEWS SHALL BE AS DECIDED BY THE COMMISSION. 
NOTE-III : NO REQUEST FOR CHANGE OF CENTRE WILL BE ENTERTAINED.
